Who is Andrea?

Making Something Inspirational Everyday.

Committed to the elimination of patriarchal, economic, race, and class supremacy. Radical in my notions of women’s autonomy, integrity, self-understanding and self-awareness.

Radical

It is the center of and proudest part of my life to be a mother of a biological daughter and chosen mother of two. My life has also been a constant commitment to the interruption of the cross-generational transmission of trauma, while preserving the genius of the survival and thriving of our mothers foremothers.

Mother

Committed to

a.) the accurate representations of American slavery and

b.) the complete repair of civil rights, voting rights, equal protection and treatment under law for black people, people of color, ethnic and religious minorities.

Black

Lesbian

Womanist

Committed to organizing, writing, speaking, voting, non-violent civil disobedience, and collaborating with women, ethnic and religious minorities, LGBTQ+ peoples, and those marginalized, exploited and discriminated against because of class, gender, size, or ability, and to be their ally.

Activist

I am committed to the eradications of the harms of gender and age-based discriminations, and barriers against all women and girls. I am committed to the equality, empowerment and protections of all women and girls.

Feminist

Committed to the full expression of my creative genius. I am committed to lifelong learning, teaching and collaborative support of women and girl writers.
